On September 19th, 2025, the Cincinnati Eye Institiute Foundation (CEIF) hosted their 2025 Golf Outing “Tee Off to Save Sight”. Seven Hills Anesthesia was proud to once again serve as a sponsor for the annual event. CEIF provides access to eye care for vulnerable and under-served populations, including the operation of free charitable eye clinics, community outreach services, support for community and professional education, and granting research funds. Special thanks to Uly Tandoc MD, Matthew Knoepfler MD, Patrick Knight MD, and Greg Appleman MD for representing Seven Hills Anesthesia as this year’s participants.
One of Seven Hills Anesthesia’s own anesthesiologists, Dr. Gregory J. Fry has published his own book. The book titled “Conquering the Hill” focuses on “the Remarkable Journey to the Greatest Gridiron Victory in Cincinnati Public Schools History”. This publication tells the story of Western Hills High School’s dramatic last minute victory over the Elder Panthers during the Thanksgiving Day Classic of November 23rd, 1978.
All proceeds earned from the sale of this book will go to the Conquering the Hill Donor Advised Fund, which will be used to benefit the local community.
Seven Hills Anesthesia is proud to take part in the 11th annual Physician Anesthesiologists Week in partnership with the American Society of Anesthesiologists. Throughout this week, we celebrate and recognize the critical role anesthesiologists play as guardians of patient safety, ensuring the safest and highest-quality care before, during, and after surgery. Please join us in celebrating the incredible work of these members of our team.
Cincinnati Magazine has officially released its highly anticipated list of the Top Doctors of 2025. Seven Hills Anesthesia is thrilled to be recognized in the anesthesiology category once again. This year, fourteen of our physicians are featured. Please join us in congratulating the following anesthesiologists:
On April 20th, 2024 Seven Hills Anesthesia partnered with Habitat for Humanity joining 371 volunteers from around the Tristate area in supporting the beautification and repair goals of the Covington, Kentucky community. Rock the Block is an extension of the Habitat for Humanity Repair Program. The goal of the Repair Program is to preserve low-income homeownership and improve the quality of life for low and middle-income homeowners through holistic place-based investment.
Seven Hills Anesthesia’s sponsorship provided access to tools that were used for repairs of the homes for Rock the Block. SHA also sponsored an individual home that needed specified repairs including landscaping, painting, cleaning and lawn care. Twenty-one different homes were beautified by volunteers during Rock the Block event, providing the homeowners with a chance to complete projects that would otherwise not have been completed.
Last week our corporate office team spent an afternoon volunteering at Matthew 25: Ministries. Our duties for the afternoon included sorting clothing donations and packing gloves for medical kits. The team was educated on the humanitarian work this organization is providing both locally and abroad. Thank you to Matthew 25 for an informative afternoon on how we can help our neighbors both locally and afar.
This week we support the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) in celebrating the more than 61,000 practicing CRNAs around the United States. Our CRNAs here at Seven Hills Anesthesia are crucial to our practice and commitment to provide safe anesthesia services to patients in the Greater Cincinnati and Columbus regions.

Medical Record Requests
Seven Hills Anesthesia contracts with hospital systems and surgery centers to provide anesthesia care. The care our anesthesia team provides is documented on the facility’s paper records and/or electronic healthcare record system. The anesthesia record is a part of the patient record that is owned and maintained by the facility where the patient received their surgical care.
Seven Hills Anesthesia does not own or maintain any patient records, and we are unable, legally, to share a patient’s record. If a patient is looking for their anesthesia medical record, the patient must request that record from the facility where they received care.
Seven Hills Anesthesia can only provide an itemized list of billed anesthesia services. Below is a comparison of billing records and medical records to assist patients in determining who to contact for the appropriate records.
Anesthesia Billing Records Request (can be requested from Seven Hills Anesthesia.)
Billing records provide detailed breakdowns of the surgical procedure(s) and charge(s) you received during your Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) or hospital visit that were related to your anesthesia care.
Purpose: To request financial documents from the anesthesia provider.
What you get: Official documents related to the charges for your care, such as an itemized bill or statement of account.
Why you use it: To check for accuracy, to provide to an insurance company for reimbursement, or to manage your payments
To request anesthesia billing records, please call 859-341-2666
Medical Records of any kind or in this case specifically anesthesia records (cannot be requested from Seven Hills Anesthesia. Patients must contact the facility where they received care.)
A medical records request is used to get copies of your health information, such as test results or doctor’s notes.
Purpose: To obtain a patient’s clinical information from a healthcare provider.
What you get: Copies of documents like physician’s notes, surgical notes, lab results, test results, and treatment summaries.
Why you use it: For personal use, to share with another doctor, or for legal purposes.
